In June 2021, the Ministry of the Interior set up a project to define long-term objectives for Finland’s comprehensive migration policy.
For this project, we are inviting all sectors of society, including citizens and immigrants, to express their views on Finland’s migration policy.

Migration policy is a broad policy sector. Its purpose is for example to provide guidelines for labour migration from abroad, the grounds for granting asylum or a residence permit, the processes that immigrants undergo when they come to Finland, and the integration services offered.
