The synergetic use of RDI funds can only be achieved with strategic and practical alignment of different policies as well as administrative simplification of the different funding instruments. This Action should not be limited to the widening countries but encourage involvement from and collaboration between the responsible Commission services and managing authorities of all Member States to secure stronger synergies between Cohesion Policy and the Framework Programme in the next Multiannual Financial Framework. In Finland, we have not exploited the opportunities for the synergies to their full potential.
